Federally indicted defense attorney Stephen Snyder is asking the Supreme Court of Maryland to reinstate his license to practice law. In 2020 Snyder was indicted for extortion and he agreed to a temporary suspension of his license. In a court filing, Snyder’s attorneys say it’s been two years and the suspension is an “intolerable” hardship and any delay in his ability to represent his clients would be unfair and inequitable. According to the Baltimore Sun, the court filing also details why Snyder says he is innocent of the federal charges. Snyder is known for his TV commercials and billboards that use the slogan “Don’t just sue them, Snyder them.”
