STATE HOUSE SPEAKER APPOINTS PANEL TO BREAK PARTISAN GRIDLOCK

Pennsylvania House Speaker Mark Rozzi has formed a working group of lawmakers to figure out a way to break the chamber’s gridlock.  The Berks County Democrat appointed three Republican lawmakers and two Democrats to solve the standstill.  He also wants them to focus on finding a way for the House to create a constitutional change proposal for survivors of child sexual abuse. A  statute of limitations amendment on that issue must be filed by January 27th in order to get it on the ballot in the next primary.
