Eighty-three-year old George Toomey of Windber, was killed earlier this week in a three-vehicle crash on Route 56 in West Saint Clair Township. Toomey reportedly rear-ended another vehicle, which had stopped to turn into a parking lot. A motorcycle, traveling in the opposite lane, was also involved in the crash. Toomey’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and into a field. Toomey was pronounced dead at the scene; the other two drivers were not injured.
