Garrett Container Systems has been awarded a $1.3 million grant from the George C. Edwards Fund. The support will help fuel the company’s economic growth and the creation of additional jobs in the area. Garrett Container Systems is located in Accident. The fund was created in the 2022 Legislative Session to act as a catalyst for economic development in Western Maryland. The legislation made the program a part of the Tri-County Council of Western Maryland, which staffs the board and administers the fund.
