Cumberland resident Timothy Ray Kesner was charged with traffic and numerous drug counts, after he drive into the rear of a vehicle that was stopped on Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Centre Street at Market Street. Showing signs of impairment, he submitted to field sobriety tests. He was arrested and during a search, officers found suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl. Kesner began to show signs of a medical emergency and an ambulance was requested. He was later issued two citations for CDS possession and was issued several DWI-related traffic citations. He is free pending trial in Allegany County District Court.
