Citizens and officials gathered yesterday during the dedication of the Cumberland Town Clock at Hendershot Park, located at the corner of Baltimore and Greene Streets, adjacent to the Cas Taylor Memorial Bridge. Let’s Beautify Cumberland, a volunteer group responsible for many cleanup and beautification projects in the city, spearheaded the effort to purchase the clock, designed to serve as a downtown Cumberland centerpiece, according to the Cumberland Times-News.
