Macy’s has announced plans to close its Logan Valley Mall location in Altoona as part of its “Bold New Chapter” strategy. The goal is to close 150 underproductive stores over a three-year period. The manager of the Altoona store says they knew the Altoona store was being considered for closure since last spring. There is no formal closing date, but one is expected to be announced soon.
