More than 225 firefighters responded to the scene of a seven-alarm blaze at a West Baltimore warehouse. Crews were called to North Bentalou Street and Edmonson Avenue Monday evening and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the multi-story building. The fire broke out near the train tracks, disrupting service on Amtrak and the MARC Penn Line. Baltimore Fire Chief James Wallace says the area has water pressure issues and smaller water mains, so outside water had to be transported to the scene. The Red Cross is assisting residents who were asked to temporarily leave their homes. No injuries have been reported and there is no word on the cause of the fire.
