Elkins resident Kelly Jean Channell, who had been wanted by the ATF, was placed under arrest following a traffic stop Saturday evening on Interstate 68 Westbound. A positive K-9 alert revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine, and other controlled dangerous substances. Among the charges lodged were possession with intent to distribute and possession of a large amount of CDS. She was held at the Allegany County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing.
