MERITUS SCHOOL OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE TO HOLD WHITE COAT CEREMONY

The Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine will hold its inaugural White Coat Ceremony today.  The school in Hagerstown will be the first medical school to open in Maryland in more than 100 years. The first class of 90 students will receive their coats ahead of starting their studies this fall. The school says the first class of students is diverse and represents a wide range of geographic locations. Officials hope that the graduates will remain in the region for their residency programs.
