While posting a message responding to Governor Wes Moore’s invitation to take a crime walk in Baltimore, President Trump also brought up federal funding to rebuild the collapsed Key Bridge. At the end of the crime post, the president wrote that he gave Wes Moore “a lot of money to fix his demolished bridge. I will now have to rethink that decision???” In response the governor said any threat to the funding will cause irrevocable damage to the national economy and to the entire state of Maryland. Funding to rebuild the Key Bridge was passed by Congress in December of last year, before Trump was inaugurated.
