MOORE AHEAD OF HOGAN IN HYPOTHETICAL 2026 MATCHUP

A new poll shows Maryland Governor Wes Moore leading former Governor Larry Hogan in a possible 2026 race.  The Baltimore Banner survey found Moore with 45 percent support, compared to 37 percent for Hogan, with 14 percent undecided.  Moore’s numbers hold steady even when Hogan is replaced with a generic Republican.  Analysts say the results show voter uncertainty on both sides, with economic concerns weighing heavily on Marylanders.
