A fire at Appalachian Wood Pellets in Kingwood has temporarily shut down production and damaged several structures. The fire started late Wednesday night; no inventory was damaged. Shipping and receiving operations will continue. No employees were injured. Responding to the fire were departments from Kingwood, Tunnelton, Terra Alta and Albright. The cause remains under investigation.
