Ray Stevens is sharing an update on his health several months after suffering a heart attack. In a statement on his Facebook page, the musician said he’s “pleased to share that his recovery from the heart attack he suffered in July is progressing very positively.” Stevens also wrote that he’s doing well after life-saving procedures that took place earlier this year and he’s now back working full-time in his recording studio. The singer said he’s trying to get strong enough to continue performing, but in the meantime, there’s a lot of work he wants to do in the studio. Stevens will release a new single, titled “Savannah,” on February 12th.
