President Trump has ordered flags flown at half-staff nationwide to honor fallen West Virginia National Guard Specialist Sarah Beckstrom. The 20-year-old Webster County native died on Thanksgiving Day after being shot while patrolling in Washington D.C. The proclamation covers all federal buildings, military installations, and U.S. facilities worldwide. Senator Shelley Moore Capito says there’s still a somber atmosphere on Capitol Hill more than a week after the shooting.
