Keyser resident Jeremy Shingler has been arrested following two separate criminal investigations involving allegations of sexual misconduct with a minor and financial fraud. Specific charges include soliciting a minor via computer, sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust embezzlement and fraudulent scheme. Another investigation involves financial irregularities involving company funds, with losses estimated at $15,969. Shingler was arraigned in Mineral County Magistrate Court and released after posting a $25,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
