FLORIDA WOMAN STRUCK AND KILLED BY CAR IN OAKLAND

A Florida woman was struck by a car and killed Friday evening in Oakland. Sixty-two-year-old Tina Lynn Roberts was taken to Garrett Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The incident occurred in the 12,000-block of Garrett Highway and remains under investigation by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team. Responding to the 10 p.m. call were Southern Garrett EMS, the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department, and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
