Hopewell resident Coty Hale is behind bars after threatening the Northern Bedford County School District, which prompted a standoff at a Roaring Spring home, when authorities came to arrest him. The threats were posted on social media, and caused a two-hour standoff, before finally surrendering to Pennsylvania State Police. He was charged with making terroristic threats and risking catastrophe, and is being held at the Bedford County Jail, with bail being denied.
