CITY TO NAME CODY PEARCE INTERIM FIRE CHIEF

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council plan to tap Deputy Fire Chief Cody Pearce as interim Fire Chief for the fire department. His appointment comes following the February announcement of Chief  Shannon Adams’ retirement after 31 years of service to the city. Adams said he planned to stay on through April to assist with the transition, according to the Cumberland Times-News.
