WOMAN AIRLIFTED FROM FALL

A woman fell from a railroad trestle Saturday morning and eventually had to be airlifted from an island and steep embankment in the 24,000-block of Mill Run Road. The woman was about 50 feet from the roadway and down a 10-to-15-foot steep embankment. Route 36 was closed for about 20 minutes while the operation took place. She was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment.
