JUVENILE KILLED IN MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH

A juvenile from the Oakland area was killed Monday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Gorman Road, near White Church Steyer Road. The initial investigation showed a Volkswagen lost control, crossed the center line, struck the back of a service truck, and was then struck by a Chevrolet truck. The juvenile, from the Oakland area, was later pronounced dead at Ruby Memorial Hospital. The incident remains under investigation by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team.
