Johnstown resident Carl Jonathan Stallman has ben convicted of the sexual abuse of a minor in Garrett County. Stallman was convicted of the offense, which occurred during a period when he was living with minor children. He was sentenced by Judge Tim Finan to 24 years in prison. Following his release, he will be placed on five years of supervised probation. Along with other conditions, Stallman will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Prosecuting the case was State’s Attorney Christian Mash.
