WAIVER GRANTED TO ALLEGANY COUNTY SCHOOLS

The Maryland State Board of Education has granted a waiver to Allegany County Public Schools, due to Wednesday’s inclement weather day. Superintendent of Allegany County Schools, Dr. Joseph Martirano says the final day of school will be Wednesday, June 10th. As a rule, students are required to attend 180 days of school each year, but that has since been waived by the state board.
