The number of first-time filings for unemployment are decreasing across Pennsylvania. That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending May 23rd, there were over 89-hundred first time filings in the state, which is hundreds of less filings than the week prior. Nationally, the number of initial filings increased compared to the week prior.
