Pre-trial motions have been filed by attorneys on both sides of Somerset County Sheriff Dustin Weir’s corruption of minors trial, which is set to begin on June 15th. The motions will determine which evidence should be admissible at trial. State prosecutors accuse Weir of pressuring a 15-year-old girl to join him and a deputy to a department store’s condom section, during a 2024 Shop with a Cop event, where he allegedly asked about sex toys and if she was sexually active. There have been no rulings on the motions filed.
