The city of Cumberland will be reimbursed around $83,000 from the “Mayor of Kingstown” TV show that is filming in Cumberland. The city has charged over $76,000 for police, fire, and EMS coverage and around $7,000 for the use of the George Street parking garage. When production is finished in downtown Cumberland, the city will create a proposed law to deal with future film production in the city. The Paramount-plus series premiered in 2001 and stars Jeremy Renner and Edie Falco.
