SHERIFF’S OFFICE UPDATES DRUG ARRESTS

A recent traffic stop by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office has led to even more evidence of drug trafficking in the region. Five search warrants in Virginia led to the recovery of additional large quantities of many different types of drugs, including LSD, PCP, and methamphetamine. Investigators believe the narcotics were intended for distribution in the Allegany County region. The investigation remains active and additional charges may be forthcoming.
