So far, no charges have been filed in a January 6th crash that seriously injured a Queen City Taxi driver. Theodore Rankin was seriously injured when a car, driving the wrong way, struck the taxi on Interstate 68. That car was driven by Amber Holthaus. Rankin was taken to UPMC-Western Maryland, and later transferred to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the crash. Rankin has since been discharged, but was transferred to a rehabilitation center in Baltimore.
