Governor Patrick Morrissey is unveiling a four-day celebration for the nation’s 250th birthday. The event runs Thursday through Saturday at the Capitol Complex in Charleston. Organizers promise live music, fireworks, and the world’s tallest portable Ferris wheel. Headliners include Alabama, the Marshall Tucker Band, and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. A sensory friendly version of the event is planned for Friday morning.
