WOMAN DIES AFTER BEING STRUCK BY VEHICLES IN LAVALE

A woman died of her injuries after being struck by several vehicles on National Highway, near Campground Road, Monday evening. The victim died at UPMC-Western Maryland. The investigation is ongoing by the sheriff’s department office crash team. The medevac helicopter was requested but was grounded due to weather conditions. Campground Road, at Simpson Avenue to National Highway, was closed for an extended period of time during the investigation.
