The Eastern Garrett VFRD will hold its monthly spaghetti dinner on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The dinner features their homemade spaghetti sauce, featuring B & B Country Meats of Frostburg, homemade Italian bread from Caporale’s Bakery of Cumberland, tossed salad, coffee, and iced tea. In October, 685 dinners were served.
Route 40 Elementary Halloween Social

Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society Open House

The Mon Valley Historical Society, Inc. is sponsoring a National Model Railroad Month Open House on November 1st and 2nd at the Mountaineer Mall. Benefit Spaghetti Dinner for Riley Barton

There will be a benefit spaghetti dinner for Riley Barton on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. at the Fairgo Grill and BBQ on McMullen Highway. Riley is two years old and is the daughter of Chris and Shelby Barton of Cresaptown. She has been diagnosed with Abernathy Malformation, and is currently in Philadelphia. Riley will soon be transported Chicago, where she will undergo two major surgeries. Her family will be with her for an extended period time, and unable to work.
