Forever Cumberland Supports Cancer Kids Toy Drive – November 30th

Forever Cumberland joined forces with Bill Dixon’s local toy drive to collect donations for the West Virginia University Hospital Children’s unit. Rocky 106.1 broadcast live on location November 30th, and promoted the event for several weeks prior to the event. Two truckloads of toys were collected and delivered to the children’s unit in Morgantown.

Forever Cumberland Cares supports Mountain Maryland Diabetes Walk – September 22nd

Forever Cumberland was live on location at the Mountain Maryland Community Diabetes Walk September 22nd at Allegany College of Maryland. The efforts of event organizers, helped to raise critical funds and support for all people living with diabetes. Money raised goes directly to support research, education, and advocacy for people living diabetes.

Forever Cumberland supports Howard’s Run – August 17th and 18th

Forever Cumberland joined in the 5th annual “Howard’s 25K Run” August 17th and 18th.  The weekend offered multiple events; the Sweet Pea Shuffle at Canal Place on Saturday the 18th from 4-7PM. Sunday morning the 19th, the “Paws on the Pavement 5K” AND the feature race, Howard’s 25 K Run. Proceeds benefited the Allegany County Animal Shelter.…

Forever Cumberland supports the Cumberland, Tri-State Autism Walk – April 13th.

The Cumberland, Tri-State Autism Walk was held Saturday April 13th at Allegany College of Maryland. The Cumberland, Tri-State, Autism Walk proceeds stay right here in our area. Forever Cumberland supports The Hooley Plunge – March 2nd

The Hooley Plunge took place Saturday March 2nd at Rocky Gap State Park. Forever Cumberland was “Live on Location.” The Hooley Plunge benefits Special Olympics of Allegany County and other programs for the developmentally disabled. Nearly 100 thousand dollars was raised.
