Specialist Sarah Beckstrom of the West Virginia National Guard was laid to rest this week at the West Virginia National Cemetery. Beckstrom was shot in the line of duty two weeks ago in Washington D-C. State and national leaders attended the private ceremony, including Governor Patrick Morrisey and both U.S. Senators from West Virginia. Her unit described her as a quiet professional who always put others above herself.
