TRONE LAUNCHES BID TO WIN FORMER SEAT

Former Congressman David Trone is running to reclaim his old seat in Maryland’s 6th District after losing a Senate race last year to Senator Angela Alsobrooks.  Trone filed paperwork Thursday and criticized current Representative April McClain Delaney, saying she’s “not doing the job.”  McClain Delaney fired back, calling Trone a “distraction” and vowing to stay in the race.  The contest sets up a high-profile Democratic primary in a district that leans blue.
