Randy Travis Shares…

Randy Travis and his wife Mary are paying tribute to the late Don Schlitz. In a statement that was shared earlier this week, Travis said “personally, Don was a dear and treasured friend, professionally, he was a great catalyst in my career.” He added that “Don could turn any ordinary moment in life into a lyrical masterpiece that filled our hearts and souls with happiness, hope and healing.” Mary also paid tribute by sharing a video of Schlitz and Travis performing “Oh, What a Time to Be Me,” a song they wrote in 1991. Schlitz passed away at a Nashville hospital after a sudden illness on April 16th. He was 73.
