Leaders with Albert Gallatin Area School District are considering a plan that would cut a number of jobs to address budget concerns. A special meeting for the Fayette County school system is planned for this evening. Elementary school teachers, middle school Math and English Language Arts teachers, one high school Math teacher, and other operations staff members could be eliminated under the plan. Superintendent Christopher Pegg says layoffs are the only way for the district to balance the budget.
