CODE SWEEP TAKING PLACE TODAY ON VIRGINIA AVENUE

The city of Cumberland is conducting a code sweep, to monitor and address code violations along Virginia Avenue today. City Code Officers will evaluate properties along Virginia Avenue and place a sign on the door handle to indicate any code violations. Along with the code sweep, a dumpster will be placed on the intersection of Virginia Avenue and 2nd Street to help with any necessary cleaning efforts. The dumpster will be available for disposal of any trash on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th. Disposal of tires, appliances, or paint is not permitted in the dumpster.
