GUILTY VERDICT IN SOMERSET COUNTY MURDER TRIAL

A Somerset County jury found Gregory Mostoller guilty of first-degree murder. The jury deliberated about two hours before returning the verdict. He was accused of shooting Clifton Earl Johnson in June of 2023 in Shade Township. Defense attorneys repeatedly argued he acting in self-defense. Mosteller was not present in the courtroom for the verdict announcement. He will be sentenced on July 27^th at 1:30 p.m.
