Mount Storm, West Virginia resident Sheryl Renae McGinnis was arrested in Oakland over the weekend. She is accused of stealing a roll of copper wire from Naylor’s True Value Hardware. She left without paying but was found near Sheetz. During a search following her arrest, deputies found drug paraphernalia and drug administering equipment. Finally, she was served with an outstanding arrest warrant, as the result of an ongoing investigation in March at Wal-Mart, where she is accused of stealing various items from the store. She had been awaiting a bond hearing at the Garrett County Detention Center.
