CUMBERLAND LOOKING FOR MORE CONTROL OVER E-BIKES

Cumberland city officials are looking to increase control over electric bikes and scooters. According to the Cumberland Times-News, City Administrator Jeff Silka recommended the City Council request state legislation to limit the speed of such vehicles. He noted that a state-directed approach is preferable to individual municipal rules on the issue.
