Randy Travis is being honored in Tennessee. Governor Bill Lee officially declared June 2nd “Randy Travis Day” in honor of the singer’s 40th anniversary of his debut studio album, “Storms of Life.” In a post on Instagram, Travis shared Lee’s recognition of the day, showing photos of an unveiling ceremony of a marker at the former site of Morningstar Sound Studio. The country star’s wife, Mary Travis, said he’s “put in a lot of work and it’s been a beautiful journey.” She added “it’s been such an honor to walk alongside him and be able to enjoy this incredible honor.”
