The Pennsylvania Turnpike is at least partially reopened after a fire caused the closure of the Allegheny Tunnel early this morning The eastbound side of the tunnel between New Stanton and Breezewood had one lane running in each direction as of 3:30 this morning, with the westbound side closed for inspection. About 150 people had to be evacuated from their vehicles inside the tunnel and taken by bus to a PennDOT maintenance shed. Dispatchers say one person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after the initial fire. No other information has been released so far.
