The Maryland State Police Trooper Five helicopter rescued an injured hiker in Grant County, West Virginia this past weekend. Because of the rugged terrain, a Trooper/Rescue technician was lowered to reach the victim, who was later taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for assessment and treatment. The hiker was in a remote area on Chimney Top.
