Oakland residents Ashley Nicole Tichnell and Nathaniel Allen Hemerick face drug charges, following a traffic stop in that area. Both were charged with possession of methamphetamine, and were taken to the Garrett County Detention Center for processing. The Garrett County Narcotics Task Force, which conducted the stop, is a cooperative enforcement effort among the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police, and the Garrett County State’s Attorney Office.
