The Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit and Child Protective Services are investigating, after a child fell from the second-story window at the former Super 8 Motel in LaVale Wednesday. According to the Cumberland Times-News, the child was flown to WVU Children’s Hospital in Morgantown by Trooper Five. The name has been changed from the Super 8, to the LaVale Inn.
