TWO DIE IN MINERAL COUNTY CRASH

Two people were killed in a head-on crash around 8:15 p.m. yesterday. The crash brought five ambulances and two medical helicopters to the 900 block of Rocket Center Road. The Maryland State Police Trooper Five helicopter and Conemaugh MedStar 1, based in Somerset County, Pennsylvania responded and landed at Frankfort High School.; One person was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital by Trooper Five, and another was taken by ambulance to UPMC-Western Maryland. The identities of the victims are being withheld, pending the notification of the families.
