Twenty-seven-year-old Dacota Craig Power was killed on U.S. Route 220 Monday morning; the crash was reported just before 10 a.m.. in the 23000-block of McMullen Highway. The Mineral County Medical Services Response 1 was requested to deliver pre-hospital blood products, and the Maryland State Police Aviation Command was requested, but later canceled after units confirmed the operator was pronounced dead at the scene. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
