VIRGINIA DRIVER KILLED IN HAMPSHIRE COUNTY CRASH

Fifty-five-year-old Cross Junction, Virginia resident Larry Cave was killed Tuesday afternoon on Northwestern Pike, near the intersection of Sirbaugh Road in Hampshire County. Cave was traveling on Northwestern Pike, when he was unable to stop for a vehicle that had slowed to make a turn. His car traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, then collided with a large tree stump. Cave was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
