FOURTEEN INDICTED ON FEDERAL DRUG CHARGES

Fourteen people have been indicted on federal drug charges in connection with an alleged open-air drug market in Baltimore City’s Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood. According to the newly unsealed indictment, the defendants conspired to distribute fentanyl, heroin and cocaine base in the 18-hundred blocks of North Carey and Woodyear streets.  The alleged operation ran from December 15th of 2025 until July 22nd of this year. In some cases, the defendants allegedly sold drugs to confidential informants and undercover investigators.
