ELLERSLIE MAN CRITICALLY INJURED IN TWO-VEHICLE CRASH

An 80-year-old Ellerslie resident was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, following a two-vehicle crash late Saturday morning. The crash involved a pickup truck and a car in the 13500-block of Ellerslie Road, between Jason Lane and Bloom Street. The man was driving a truck, while a juvenile was operating a car. The man was thrown from the truck into a wooded area of the roadway. The teen driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at UPMC-Western Maryland. The road was closed for about four hours, and the investigation is continuing.
